DR. CORRADO CAMPOBASSO

Campobasso Corrado started his career on 1992, after graduating at Bocconi University in Economic and Social Sciences. In Milan he worked for leading market research companies (AGB Group; A.C. Nielsen) as quantitative analyst, training on statistical programming (SAS) and following advanced courses in social science data analysis (University of Essex).

In 1996 He joined ISDEE - Institute for the Study and Documentation of the European Community and Eastern Europe, based in Trieste. As economic and political analyst, his activity has been manly focused on the economics of transition and related socio-demographic issues in EECs. He has been member of the editorial staff of EST-OVEST, ISDEE’s revue and, since 2005, Research Manager. As ISDEE’s delegate and representative, He participated to conferences on Balkans and EU’ enlargement issues and contributed as speaker or lecturer to seminars and summer schools (Institute of World Economics - Budapest; Economic Policy Institute – Sofia; IAI Rome).  He participate as expert

In 2008 He joined INFORMEST, a non-profit public organization with branches in the Italian North-East (Gorizia; Padua; Trieste) involved in the development of economic co-operation between Italian enterprises and economic operators interested in the central and eastern European Countries, in the Newly Independent States and in Asian Countries.

He lectured in Economics of Transition at courses organised by academic institutions and NGOs on Development Cooperation in CEE and Balkan areas.

He participate as expert to Research Projects funded by EU Commission, EU programs, Italian Government Ministries and Friuli-Venezia Giulia’s Regional Government.
